What COP 28 meant for energy transition in civil aviation

Are we really moving towards global agreement on the climate issue? The question still seems valid after COP 28, the United Nations Conference on Climate Change held in Dubai, which ended on December 13, 2023, one day later than expected.

The context of COP 28 was marked by several parallel themes that dominated international attention, such as armed conflicts in Palestine (Gaza Strip) and Ukraine, in addition to uprisings in several countries in the Sahel region, territorial tensions in the Pacific, instability in commodity prices and the prospects of the presidential election in the United States.
